I changed the setting to fullscreen mode while in game. The game froze and crashed. Now when I try to start the game, I get a black screen before any video even plays. I can’t get into the game to change anything back, so I’m stuck.
Is there any way to reset all settings to default while outside of the game? Otherwise I’m stuck, because I can’t get to the settings menu thanks to this janky alpha-tier mess.
I dont know if it will help but you can try to press Alt + Enter right when you start the game
this should switch between Fullscreen and Windowed mode.
The issue was actually the resolution. I forced the game via config to start the game in 800x600, and it started. Not sure why.
I was wrong. Spoke too soon.
I tried to set fullscreen again, and now I’m back to the same problem. Changing resolution via config doesn’t help. This appears to be completely random.
