Bleeding in Combat?

Since one of the major selling points of this game is that it’s super-realistic, will there be a bleeding mechanic? What I mean is that when you get a flesh wound (or even something more serious), I think it would be good to bleed a bit, losing some Health until the wound closes by itself or you bandage it. I’ve never heard of a game where bleeding was a major mechanic in combat (I’m sure there are some, just not that I’ve heard of), so I think it would be a fairly cool feature to include.

Thoughts?

I have nothing exact but they are counting with quite strong (optional) survival elements. Do not expect DayZ but its supposed to be quite hardcore when compared with other RPGs. It could be fresh and fun so lets hope they will manage to implement. On the secont though on bleeding, I cannot imagine how to make the game mechanics fun. Do you realy want to open your inventory and click on bandage icon every time you get hurt?

i thing there already is bleeding.
Yesterday when i played a drop of blood appeard next to my stamina bar. I assumed that it was bleeding, though I am not sure.

i bled to death on low health, and there’s an item in the shop called bandage.

That’s why you stop it first with alcohol, duh.

I guess the devs were way ahead of me. I’m glad to see this mechanic in game.

Although, I was kind of hoping that you would be able to cause bleeding to enemies after a good hit, like a face hit or a parry-riposte. Of course, in combat, smaller wounds on enemies probably wouldn’t really matter, but if you nicked a good-sized blood vessel (even an artery), it would make a difference.

Just something I think would be cool.

small touches like that may be coming in the future the alpha is focused on core features vs aesthetics so a visual bleeding system may be seen later.

Currently I have already witnessed an opponent bleeding out (or a bug who knows for sure) I had a long fight with an opponent and I had backed off after doing some serious hits to his face and as i was waiting for my stamina to build the match ended.

Well that sounds shiny. Hopefully it’s intentional and not a bug. I’ll have to test it out some.

I’m still rooting for realistic blood in all cases
