Is it possible to restrict my viewing of certain catagory types on this forum. I have no desire to read Off-Topic posts and do not want to be able to see them at all.
Can I omit them from my view within Discourse?
Well… you could mute them in Profile -> Preferences.
You mean the person? and I cant see anywhere in there that allows you to mute anything!
Forget it I have found it question is answered.
Go to your profile, by clicking your picture in the top right corner. Then click the “Preferences” button. The one with the cogwheel on it. Then scroll down to where it says “Categories”. I guess then write “Off-topic” in the “muted” field.
yeah I got it right after I posted.
I only have Forum (meta) and game related topics open now and all language related topics removed as well. Sweet I dont have to sift through the rubbish posted in other categories now!
