So I hope this is something I’m doing wrong so it could be a quick fix. When equipping Chausses the boots get automatically unequipped and the chausses auto fill both slots, leaving Henry barefoot. Is this a bug or is it something I’m doing wrong? I just bought new boots and leg armor. Not sure what boots I was wearing before but I was thinking that it had to be a certain kind in order for both to work together.
Not a bug…the Chausses covers both I believe. You might be able to combine some other type of shoe.

No, I have this too. And if you hover the chausses, you can see they light up two of the leg armor slots.
You can combine them with something else, forgot the name, but not with boots.
I’m going light armor now, and gave up on those plate thingys. But yeah, I was pretty bummed out seeing I did the whole Baptism of Fire bare footed:D
Hmmmm… I did notice that it highlights both slots. I wonder what could go with it 
Well I mess around with it a bit or look up some history stuff to see if it’s only a certain type of shoe/boot that was typically worn. Thanks for letting me know!
