The Quest tells me to meet Hans at the Upper Castle courtyard at dawn but no matter what time I go there he will not show up and I cannot progress in the game. I’ve tried loading different saves but it doesn’t fix anything.
Yh, it says I failed the quest, he just didn’t move at all for ages so I fast forwarded an hour and it said quest failed and now i’ve completed the Map and all locations looking for a way to get a main quest going and nothing, no one talks to Henry, Ratizg or anyone so I’m still trying to figure out whats happening.

This bug is known.
You have started this game and after this it was updated to the latest version.
Now you have a mixed save, and it doesn´t work properly.
Sorry, the only known solution is to start a new fresh game…

The problem is, your save has states which are out of norm. A new patch changes the “world” and not your save. So the old save will stay corrupt…
Stay cool,… this was just a training round, next time you are better prepaired and you will change your destiny… 
Well but who can now promise that some future patches won’t make saves useless again ?
Just my luck BTW, when I put disk in PS4 it started downloading the patch. But I was impatient so I played 10-20 mins without patch

But many fresh games(with open world) has this problem at the start…
So, when we update the game our current saves will become corrupted??

I am having the same issue on xbox. It would really suck to restart because I did a lot of side quest.
It would be nice if someone from Warhorse will say if patch 1.03 fix this issue or not, since the patch is already done and sent to Sony/MS …
My game never patched on xbox.
I started again and I can do the quest now! Doesn’t take that long to get back to this point after skipping all the dialogue and cut scenes.
after encountering a game breaking bug on Questions and Answers, I decided I’d restart the game… NOW I have this bug, and nothing will fix it. WTFFFFF this is so unacceptable. I paid $60 for something that doesn’t work! I even restarted the game after 45hrs, and have ANOTHER game breaking bug. Seriously???

Rollback of the version means that you will play for 45 hours more.
