Hey there,
In the quest “Lession in Chivalry” are a few bugs! If you fight with the “bad” guy (The dude who is wearing a shield + axe //Quest objective) you cannot fight this guy, if you choose to do so, you will get stuck!
So, we cant fight with the guy cause otherwise we get stuck, cant open our inventory and so on. Easy to reproduce - “works” every time… 
(Quest would probably work, if you use a “pieceful” tactic)
Actually if you obliterate him then the quest ends easily. It is only if you ‘beat’ without killing him that it gets stuck. You do get hassled by the bailiff for murder ~ but apart from that no major hassle. Pay the fine and move on.
You can also tell him how to woo her instead, with no fight and no trouble if you have a higher speech skill and the appropriate ‘look’ and dialogue choices.
Thanks for the extra information! Took me/us several hours to find out what the problem is.
