Buggy swordplay

After leaving talmberg and encountering bandits i found that my strikes just wouldnt land. The only thing happening was me being struck or countered. In the end i switched to my bow and forced him to surrender. Is this an issue that anyone else come across? (ps4)

I found that quitting the game and restarting it fixes this.

I hadn’t had that problem but when I was training in Rattay with the cpt (after quest)learning rprotese he jabbed and I flew across the areana.lol
