If you buy a horse before getting Pebbles, do you still get Pebbles, and if so can you use her or sell her? If not, do you get anything else instead?
Pebbles becomes a horse you can ride any time, but won’t come when you whistle.
As @Aradiel pointed out, you do get Pebbles whether you already have a horse or not, however, it should also be pointed out that there may be a bug here.
You see, when you get Pebbles in the main story line, when you go outside, there might be an unusable duplicate of your horse (gear and all) standing next to Pebbles.
Doesn’t really affect anything, but it was weird to see.
Pebbles is bae
Love that horse, but it’s so bad.
Played my first play through on her…147 hours baby! It’s really not slow if you don’t know anything else lol
Put a saddle on her and she has around 60 speed, the fastest is around 70 when maxed out, so not that much difference. The main difference is her courage and stamina.
Yea I never bought anything for her…but I never rode her into battle, strictly for travel/pack mule.
Mounted combat is very strong, you should try it. Though it’s not quite as strong as it would be irl because hitting people with the sword from horseback is a bit tedious. Mounted archery is OP though.
That’s why I haven’t tried it much. It was difficult in mount and blade so I didn’t expect much out of this, as it’s not really the aim of the game. Also I’m terrible with bow so shooting and running and shooting or running circles isn’t really an option for me. Full armor and mace/shield was OP enough for me on my first run…stealth thief/assassin/axes if I have to this run
Now if you could run people over with your horse like you should be able to that would be different
For long range shots I recommend just sitting on a horse, for some reason it’s easier. Just have the horse stand still and take your time.
Running people over would be a lot of extra work, so I don’t really think it’d be worth the effort for the devs, but it sure would be cool.
You actually can run people over with your horse. You can kill villagers like this and the guards will come after you!
Then I’ve got some strong ass villagers in my game. I mean, maybe eventuall, but if I hit them they should definitely fall over lol. I get why they don’t and that it’s extra work but still
