Well idk if it really looked PS2 it just really bugged out and the graphics screwed up but it was just a example
It appears there have been more patches since I last visited the forum - great to see a studio continuing to support their game post release!
Can anyone offer any update on the game on PS4 with patch 1.7.2? Does anybody know of a release date for patch 1.7.3?

WH wants to release next month an new DLC. With this there will be a new patch for the game.
Probably a bigger patch, so this could be 1.8.

Not having a PS4, but rumours say it’s better… 
I’ve come across some PS4 Pro footage on YouTube streamed on Dec 30th (it looks to be part of the start sequence before the opening credits) and it doesn’t look pixelated…?

weather variety seems curtailed though. iow, the chances of a rain event seem less than shortly after release, and when it does occur it’s seldom with pure overcast. shortly after release, i used to enjoy riding through a thunderstorm. opportunity to do so now seems rare if at all
I’m really undecided about this game! I’ve been and had a look over on Metacritic and to say the game is divisive would be an understatement! It either scores really highly or really low?

If you can ignore the vitriol and fanboyism, KCD is a very unique and splendid game with some notable flaws. It’s every bit a flawed diamond. The vehicle equivalent would be something like the old VW van (minibus), Merc AMG GT R or Mitsu Evo
I don’t want to sink a load of hours into a game then lose all my progress because of a bug - especially such a slow burner. Im not sure I could look past that.
Save corruption got patched at least a couple patches ago. Will it prevent any possible save file issue? Can’t guarantee. That said, I have 2 playthroughs on vanilla PS4. One has ~670h and the other ~300h. I’ve kept save files trimmed (~5 max), and haven’t suffered heartburn (fwiw, I have to use the same strategy with FO4)
