Can anyone confirm? 1.6

Not sure if it’s just me or 1.6 messed things up but I am on a new game with the new patch and for some reason I’m not getting dirty at all and my damaged clothes don’t look damaged at all. A 0% jerkin or 0% health shirt looks the same as a new one on my game. I could of swore clothes get dirty and tattered as they get damaged pre-1.6.

Is this just my game or is it like this for others as well?

I haven’t had time to play long enough yet, but I can confirm 2 things:

1 This happened to someone else on 1.6. The topic was just around here, but I cannot find it.
2 After a very good beating, I haven’t observed any blood or bruises on my Henry, as always.

I suspect this is not your individual problem, since there are three similar reports in overall so maybe you should report it to support@kingdomcomerpg.com and attach your save file.

Are you playing on a PC or a console?

I’m actually playing on console. I contacted support and found out they wanted my save but I am unable to do so without a flashdrive big enough for playstations standards.

Any flash drive will do just make sure it’s flash 32 format and has a folder on it labelled ps4

Could it be that the devs tried to address the dirty too fast complaints and didn’t get it right?

It works fine on PC. I have tried training combat with Bernard and my repaired and cleaned brigandine now looks damaged and dirty as it should. So maybe it is PS4 or Xbox bug only.

I play on PC. I’ll give it another try. Well beaten by bad guys in the ore sorting yard near Skalitz, Henry had no bruises.

If anyone on xbox or ps4 can test, it would be appreciated. I’m not seeing my Henry get dirty and not seeing his clothes or armor get damaged at all.

Okay, so I have done some fighting with capt. Bernard and my results are strange to say the least. The brigandine looks damaged enough, although it’s only at around 73%, while my hauberk and gambeson are ruined down to 0%, but when I take everything off, they look just like new…

i’ve long felt KCD does some weird (inappropriate) sub surface damage. it’s as if shock waves pass through plate/brigandine armor and combat jacket (if worn) and then detonate upon the gambeson.

I know, but this is not my point. Before 1.6, a gambeson with 0% health would look like a mess. Now it looks like new.

have to check it out

what should 0 gambeson even look like? why should any 0 armor or 0 clothing have any integrity. again not your point… in hardcore, less than 20%(?) armor/clothing should be shredded and non-recoverable. and less than 10%(?) should break apart … slot empties and object lost

There is some terrible disproportion in the visual looks now. Some items look like brand new even when badly damaged. Some other items look like total mess even if damaged slightly. Poor Rattay tailor now looks like a complete ragamuffin.

yeah, that’s pitiful. he’s not the only tailor. meanwhile some of the guards… can’t say i could see a tear if i checked them up and down

I have submitted a report to the tech support with 2 save files. Hope that Warhorse pays attention to this.

I can confirm on PC all of the weirdness written above: Taylor clothes are ruined, mine look flawless despite being 0%, also the crazy damage that gambesons take, way higher than anything over it.

Same, ever-flawless armor, ragged Rattay tailor, altho bruises do appear on people’s skin. PC.

well I dont have any of the problem you mentioned but I have another problem it seems head pads and cloth you wear over your armor plate dont clip anymore they glitch through each other

It is strange that the rattay tailor looks so…ragged but the Ledetchco one is pristine. Haven’t checked Sassau yet

And it is not just tailor in Rattay. Master Jerome in Sassau looks like he was in a rough fight recently and other citizens too:-)
