Can I run it 1440p

Hey guys, I know these constant question about pc specs must get annoying but I couldn’t find my answer. My question is with and i7 6770k quad core and a standard non-overclocked gtx 1080 will I be able to run this game at max settings on 1440p? With a minimal 50 fps?
Appreciate any who respond and I apologize for any grammatical errors as I am on a phone typing this.

Absolutely not. “Maximum settings” will bring any currently available system to it’s knees. This is Cryengine, and being used far more ambitiously than it has been in the past.

But. … you don’t need to use maximum settings to get extremely good image quality.

You should be able to get full (Ultra) shader quality, full texture and lighting quality etc, with extended (but not maximum LOD and object distances), maybe. Depends where the bottlenecks in your system and the game engine are - at least in 1080.
I’m unfamiliar with scaling from 1080 to 1440 in purely rendering terms, but the pixel count is double, so there should be some increase in the rendering time on the GPU. Whether that is significant in terms of reduction in frame rates I couldn’t guess.

Guys… everyone is talking about a GTX 1080 and so on…
What about a GTX 960, i5-5500 and 16 GB Ram ?
Anyone knows that ?

Hi,

I have been playing the Beta Using medium settings on the PG348Q ROG Swift 3440x1440 with no issues but I have a Titan X, There is no way you will run it on anything higher with your rig I’m afraid.

I have done a little more research into this and found out the Beta is terribly optimized. When the full game releases in mid February it should be way easier for most computers to run. The beta shouldn’t be a benchmark on whether or not your computer is going to be able to handle it.
