I don’t get this PC vs Consoles debate. To each his own. Both world has it’s advantages and it’s properties.

Consoles and pc are two different things in my opinion. I have a decent pc and an xbox 360 and i play my xbox just as much as my pc (mainly for red dead redemption and gta5) and i think the things wrong with both of them is the community, I have met more friendly people on pc then console, but console doesnt have a good social system like steam, so its understandable. Then there are fanboys who will defend consoles to the last breath, and its the same with pc. So, that said, all we need to do is stop arguing about it. Sure pc has better graphics and faster run speeds, but that doesnt make console any less fun.

Not to mention more games, cheaper games, modding support, steam sales, and free online. Oh pcs are around the same price for better or equal performance.

You dont even understand one of my arguments. I sad most of runs on 1080p@60fps, not some ubishit like Wash Dogs, but normal multiplatform games like BattleField 4 or Wolfenstein: The New Order. About why PC slows progress, try to read it again. IBM PC was not better on market in 80s, but its popularity kills all competitors, which was better. Even now PC use x86 CPUs, which really a crap. But because of it’s popularity even consoles start to use it.
And try to buy PC for 400$, that’s can run BattleField 4 or last Wolfenstein on 1080p@60 fps, or even WD on 1080p@30FPS.
it will probably be like 20-30 fps on the ps4 unless they optimize it really well. Crisis 3 had great optimization so hopefully this will be just as well optimized.
First off i do have a pc that can run those games at 50-60 fps at 1080p and it was around 400 dollars. Second of all the ps4 does not run any games at 60 fps and 1080p. Again the ps4 does not run games at 60 fps and 1080p that is a lie. Sony had a law suit over it because they keep claiming games can run at 1080p and 60 fps but they never do. They always run at 30 fps and 1080p. Oh by the way pc has 4k so have fun with 1080p.

I will offer you another perspective. I want my PC to be absolutely silent. In case of gaming the silence may not be that important (in case you don’t play with headphones and someone do something else in the room) but I use my PC for playing music, working, writing etc. and I absolutely need it to be silent. Therefore I have built a completely silent PC. Which is possible (even under prolonged load) but expensive. I have therefore about one and half year old cca 2000 Euro PC with i7, GTX 670 (with Accelero cooler staffed by Noctua fans) which is nothing to write home about nowadays and is still terribly expensive. Well I need that computing power even while not gaming for my work (goddamned Lightroom) and I admit it is just so so powerfull. And I hear my refrigerator. 
In case I didn’t want the silence / computing power needed for my work I could have bought a gaming console, a TV and a laptop for about half of the price of my PC.
Actually sony on multiple occasions has blatantly lied about games being 1080p and 60 fps on the ps4. I wouldn’t say the new consoles are far better than the previous console generation seeing how they both lasted around 10 years. The xbox 360 was about as good as a high end gaming pc when it came out. These “next gen consoles” are the equivalent to 6 year old pcs.
Well its the truth i run games at high-ultra( im running the alpha at medium because it crashes on higher settings). I get around 40 fps on the alpha at high settings when its not crashing. Most games i get around 50-60 fps. You can find many budget build pcs that out perform the xbox 1 and gaystation 4 for around 400-500 bucks. I can send you the link to multiple budget builds if you like?
We all have our preferred platforms, and we all have fun on them, so why does it matter what other people are playing?

Well their are currently 4k screen shots of this game on the forum right now bud. I will have to tell you my specs when i get home because i dont know them off the top of my head. I was wrong about the 1080p turns out cod ghosts can run at 1080p and 60 fps that is incredible. The the last of us doesn’t count it was made just for ps4 so they didn’t have to port it to other platforms they could focus on optimizing it for the ps4 only.

[/quote]Lol, i can take such screenshot even on my pc, but it just static picture. It doesn’t mean that my pc can run game on 4K. Even if PC have enough power (with gtx 980), you will get strange glitches on your 4k TV, just read official nvidia forum about it.
Still that fact that pc is moving towards 4k and console is just now getting excited about 1080p shows how far behind you peasants are.

Cameron’s Avatar was shot in 2k. Are you sure you really need 4k? Because why stop at 4k then? You can have 6k or even 8k cameras and displays if you wish so why not to play a game in 8k?
