Can't Access Quest

Greetings.

So, I want to do the Friend in Need quest (or the quest that is along those lines, but not …Is a Friend Indeed) with Matthew and Fritz, but I already resolved their problem with the monk that they beat up. They BOTH still have the quest giver option, yet whenever I talk to them it’s just training. Could anyone be so kind as to help me, please? Thanks!

you’ve probably refused to help Matthew and Fritz during first talk with them.After you once refuse to help them,there’s no other chance to start “friend in need” again.
