Can't activave account, e-mail not sent to me

Hi fellas,

I created an account with my email, just after my kickstarter code arrived in Kickstarter message central. Just after creating my account aparently successfully last friday night, I could not manage to activate it because no e-mail was sent to me. Yes, I checked the spam folder and every time I try to log in the forums, I receive an option to resend the e-mail, yet with absolutely no response and no email in my inbox whatsoever.

After that, I created this account, with google account login, while my email is a gmail account, aparently it merged somehow with my previously created login, I supose it because the “Joined” info in my about profile matches with my first account create date. But still, when I click on the link reset password, I receive no e-mail either.

At top of all this, I got no badge of my pledge… How can I resolve it? I tried to send a message to warsorse but couldn’t find a way to message him, cannot find this option when I visit his profile.

This happened to me as well with not getting the activation or kickstarter code emails. On the kickstarter page, I clicked on the “contact me” link under Warhorse Studios, explained what was going on, and they had is sorted out within 48 hours. Good luck!

The easiest way for you would be to send us a message on Kickstarter with your email and nickname you used to activate. We can see your pledge there as well so we can edit your account without further verification.

Thank you guys, sent a message to Warhorse on Kickstarter and I’ll wait for a response.

Same here. After I contacted them in the way mentioned above, Warhorse fixed it really fast and informed me by mail that they activated my account manually. Seem to have been getting all of their other communication so far, including the mail containing the backer code. This may imply there may (have been) something wrong with the forum’s notification/activation/password reset feature, at least for a small group of users. Will keep an eye on the matter…

I also sent an email to the “info” address as kickstarter@warhorsestudios was being sent back as undeliverable. I just logged on with my Facebook account, I also edited this account with the kickstarter forum code, not sure if it’s wise to do since I don’t know whether these two logings will confict… I didn’t receive the activation code even after multiple tries (not in the spam folder either).

I was now just flooded with all my activation e-mails… Looks like they actually got some problem with the mailing system.

If there is a problem with any system it would have to be Kickstarters system, since they are the ones dealing with the automated messages.

There’s no problem with the backer code, I did receive that from notification@kickstarter but I just can’t get the new registration completed for http://forum.kingdomcomerpg.com. The activation emails are not getting through. I would be surprised if the forum registrations have anything to do with Kickstarter anymore (well maybe with the matching of pledge levels, don’t know).
