Can't complete "get ale" part of first quest

  1. Talk to Bianca - get 2 dialogue options - “ALE” and “I came to see you” (paraphrasing)
  2. I select the second one
  3. I no longer have the “ALE” option
  4. When I buy beer from her trade screen the quest doesnt update as completed, I have finished all other parts of the quest

Am stuck

Can provide more info (in what order I completed the quest and so on)
This is on PC - steam

I chose the first option about seeing her.

She gave me the ale for father and some game saving potions.

Try that.

Did you bring it to Henry’s father, or did you just buy it?

Did you bring it to him cold and fresh or did you jack around, let it warm up and just brought him piss?

You CLEARLY said you chose the 2nd option to buy the ale.

I said to choose option #1, the option about coming to see Bianca.

The quest works fine.

How did you get money? I sold the nails and hammer but spent it all in one charcoal?

I stole Kuneš ´s axe as well and got some extra money for it and I haggled a better price with the charcoal merchant :wink:
Edit: I finished this quest today and it worked ok , I haven´t seen any problems or bugs so far…

To the east there is a little clearing with a TON of herbs to pick. I picked all the herbs there and ended up with around 300 total. I sold some of those to buy the stuff :slight_smile:

I usually leave the tutorial with 50-60 Groschen… maybe a little more sometimes. A bit less if I splurge on a tailor’s kit.

The fact that the quest works fine for you doesnt mean it does for everyone, that’s how bugs work

I also have a bug on this first quest. I let the Ale get warm and Henry’s father told me to go and buy some more. I went back and talked to bianca but the dialog option to get ale is no longer there. i bought the different types of drinks but nothing works.

i guess i will have to start over in the mean time.

So i had the same issue and thought it’d be best to leave the solution that worked for me here since i didn’t get answer anywhere on the web and i was too lazy to start over.
just like you, right after i selected the answer “i came to see you” i couldn’t get access to “ale” option. all i did was going to vanyek and telling him i’ll go for the training this evening. instead of following vanyek though, i went back to bianca and voila! the ale option was there and she gave me those saving potions too!
i know it’s late but hopefully someone else who has the same problem will find this answer helpful.
