I have purchased the game trough Steam and have created an account on the website, however i am not able to donwload the beta. The forum says that I should find the download for the launcher on my profile page, however I could not fine anything.

@DrFusselpulli will correct me if I am wrong but I beleive Beta access was closed some months ago and now everyone has to wait till February for the final release.
in any case the beta is almost two years old and is hardly Representative of the final game.
That is not completely correct, the Beta was never a bonus for the preorder, but only for our backers of the crowdfunding campaign which ended in the 17th of August from the Knight pledge upwards. Every backer still has the ability to download and test out the Beta.
However, this will change soon, the download opportunity of the Beta will be switched off in the next couple of days, probably before January ends to prepare the distribution of the final release version.
The ability to play the beta which is already installed on a computer should not be affected by that.
It should be possible to play the Beta till the release, maybe even further if you have it installed on you computer already.
For this reason, a preorder on Steam and a profile on our homepage will not give you Beta access.
Glad i reinstalled the beta on both of my computers just the other day. (runs surprisingly well on medium settings on gtx 1050 laptop)
