Can't get the dog

I have the dlc but cannot get the dog, but Each time I ask Theresa about the dog, the dialog ends after she said “the dog came along ever since”. The first time I asked about the dog, it had some further options, but nothing about keeping the dog, and the options never appear again.

I tried to uninstall all the mods but it won’t help. I even tried a new game and it works

I’m on this too. I dont see a dog and dont have the speak option with theresa.

Do you have the DLC or the Royal Editon of the game? Are you on PC?

DLC. I’m on PC.
In-game it says the DLC is active and I can read the info on it, but it dont really activate.

Do you habe an old save without moding? This should be the best chance. A save with moding is probably the reason for the problem…

I started the game modded. I have about 500 hours in the game, this is my second Hardcore run, I knew excactly what I wanted.

Since I’m not the first, is there no idea on what file it is that gets corrupted?
