Can't get trought tutorial

Hi! I will try write something in english.

I can’t get trought the tutorial training of combat. Idk if I am retardet or what . For me it’s extremly hard. Because i still dont know HOW to defence and timing for parrying in the same time. I just dont know how. And I should know that from the game, but I didn’t found it how. I know, I am noob in this  and this will gonna be very hardcore realistic game. But still I love historical games from medieval ages. I love czech game developers. And I believe this will be awesome game with awesome story. But I dont want to suffer playing this game, cuz I have problems with combat system. :frowning:

So my question is. Is this combat system now in stadium on the easiest level? Or, will you improve, to make it easier, for nubs like me?

The current tutorial is kind of lacking in instruction, with that said the combat is still much harder then any other I have experienced.

The key to a successful parry is timing you have to hit the block button just as the enemy is making the attack.

Try fighting the first combatant (easiest fighter setting) and just watch his body as he prepares and makes his attack. There is a subtle twitch before they make thier strike and this is when you want to hit the block button.

If your parry is successful there is a slight time distortion and a sound effect that will clearly identify it as a parry.

The current fighters in the arena are an Easy, Medium , And Hard setting style fighters.

There will always be improvements to the fighting system until release but I cannot say that it will be changes to the difficulty to much. This being an RPG you will develop more skill as a fighter and thus make opponents easier over time. Too difficult of a fighter level up!

A suggestion that makes fighting easier to start is to compete in the arrow contest as much as you can stand first this levels up your strength.

Nothing is final, so it can be changed. And difficulty is imo especially something that will go throught thourough tweaking. That being said, Warhorse stated on many occasions that the game is mainly a RPG and so if you will have an issue with combat, you can overcome it by leveling. Another thing is that the game should be also playable almost without a combat at all - you can solve issues by dialogs, sneaking etc., so if you wasn’t able to beat oponents in combat even after leveling, you can avoid fights by different play style.
