Can't Interact With Most Things Randomly

UPDATE: Resolved(for now). The solution/issue seemed to be the TOBII EYE TRACKING. I never even touched that setting in game and never used anything outside the game using the tobii eye track. I was messing with settings and turned everything OFF in there(ingame settings) and miraculously it was fixed.
Thank god.
I hope this fixes it for good.

I’ve had this issue for a while. So I know this isn’t due to the new patch. No mods enabled etc.

My HUD(bottom health/stamina etc.) bars will be greyed out and I can’t interact with pretty much anything. I can still take out my weapons/fight but looting, talking to people, interacting with pots of food/fire etc. will not show as an option at the bottom right corner of my screen and I can’t do it no matter what I do.
It usually either randomly happens, or its when I put my laptop to sleep and then continue playing/or reopening the game and noticing the bug is happening. I cannot fix it no matter what I do.
The only thing I can do is to try and load an old save and that doesn’t always work. Any suggestions?

New Installation of the game, … without MODs. But maybe your save is damaged.

it’s been happening on previous versions of the game. Not just this patch. And its ALL save games. I just started a new v1.9 gamesave and it happened randomly when I turned my laptop into low power saving mode. Maybe its just something to do witth that im on a laptop.
The solution was to restart the game a few times.

Is the game still running when you put it into sleep? This could be the issue if so.
Similar to how some games crash when you Alt-Tab out of them.

Yes. However, It’s happening right now. I was doing a Theresa’s story in womans lot and the second time I talk to Bianca(right before asking adam for his bow), the game froze and crashed. After restarting, all the saves I have are showing the glitch. I can interact with adam surprisingly but not my dog and half the other villagers either.
I have a feeling this glitch is happening due to some file/config file that isn’t loading/saving properly when putting my pc to sleep/game crashes etc.
Any one else got any ideas on how I can fix this?
As I said, its happening now and I’ve restarted the game 4 times, tried a bunch of different/older saves and still its going on.

UPDATE:
After almost an hour of the glitch and trying to fix it. Restarting laptop, loading different saves, trying to play through it, removing log files or anything that seems would be linked to a file, I figured it out.
I nearly was about to give up but decided to try every setting in game I could change.
Changed graphics, controls(figured id mess there the most since its on PC but I use PS4 controller.) Then I turned off that damn Tobii eye tracking option.
That seemed to fix the glitch right away. I went back to settings and turned it back on…guess what. Glitch was back.
Seems its directly linked to that Tobii eyetracking option.
