So this is a new on for me… I cant load my saves! My three last saves are not working, they just crash my game, Luckely I just loose about 20 min of gameplay, thank god I downloaded the Save mod so I can save as much as a I want!
I just got this bug as well, unfortunately I hadn’t really ran into any other bugs so I had been sporadic in my saves and lost about 3hours of gameplay 
it seemed to start when I went to an inn (had to climb a ladder to the bed in the loft) and the ladder went straight into a floor instead of a loft, after that everything stopped rendering so I tried to reload and it will not load my saves.
Have same problem as you but i cant load any save i have… i lost abou 38 hours of gameplay… i thing the new patch 1.2.5 is that problem.
Ouch man that’s a lot of game time…I deleted ALL of my excess saves and left 3 (really far back, moderate checkpoint save, current save) and so far haven’t had another issue, so maybr it has to do with too many saves?
I just lost 135 hours of game play. Game crashed and they disappeared. Unfortunately, I didn’t know to delete old saves.
