Cant Open Game

Sooo can’t even open the game, keep getting the error in the screenshot.

I thought at first it was messed up because I preloaded the game yesterday and it updated itself when I first tried this morning. So i did a full re-install and same error, it never gets past updating itself or something. I’ve rebooted my machine, logged out and back into steam and like I said tried a fresh install, same error. My internet and other steam games are fine. Sooooo yea…any ideas? It seems like this might be on steams end but not sure. I’ve never had a game act like this before.

I’m running Windows 10 and the latest Nvidia Driver for the game (390.77) as well.

Yeah, I’ve got the exact same problem. Hopefully we’ll get some feedback from support. For now, we’re stranded on a desolate island This sucks.

I resolved it by deleting the game totally (again), reinstalled steam, set my region to Canada - Calgary, and redownloaded the game. It completed correctly unlike the first time and game is running fine now. No idea if the region fixed it or the fresh install. My previous region was US - Philly.

I finally got it working! Ultimately the steam re-installation did the trick.

Ok, I’ve download this game three times so far. Every time it took about 7 hours to download 31.7 GB on my 20-ish Mbps slow-ass LTE network.

First time I just installed the game and it didn’t work.

Second Time I changed the download region to another country, cleared download cache, turned off the anti-virus and all firewalls and eventually re-downloaded the game. It didn’t work and got me pissed.

The Third time I uninstalled Steam (subsequently uninstalling all the games that i had on my PC), downloaded and re-installed the steam app, changed the download region to another country (I’m from Poland and changed it to Czech Republic), cleared download cache, turned off the anti-virus and all firewalls and eventually re-downloaded the game. And then it finally worked and I could turn on the game.

Now I reverted to my original download region and turned on the firewall and it still works. So yeah, the steam app re-installation finally worked. I hope this will help other users who have the same issues.

Купил игру в стиме. Загрузил. всё установил. но игра не загружается. Вообще не каких действий не происходит при пуске игры!
