I was doing the nest of vipers quest when i reported about the camp to radzig and he told me to talk to the sir in talmberg,the quest mark didn’t appear and i could’t go on with the story. I tried to load an older save and now the game crashes with every save i load.
Gee…I wonder what he plays on and what patch? I wonder if he tried back saving further back? mebbe he has a trainer or mods.

Are you using any mods? The mods are not updated to 1.6.2 and will hamper playthrough.
back in 1.4 I had at least 10 saves corrupted on the play line I was on. I had to start almost at the start.
If all your saves do this and you don’t use mods( you didn’t say) you can send a ticket with a save and wait a loooonng time for a non automated response ( can you say over whelmed?). or reload the game( new install) and try with a save of your choice, start a new game on another playline, install a clean version ( delete and re do ), delete all your saves if your confident they are all bad and start over ( I did 3x). , Start the game at a save before the mission and delete all the saves after. start a new save and delete the one you restarted with and have a fresh save before the mission.

I have a mod that let’s save without the drink, if i delete that i should resolve the crash problem but what about the quest mark not appearing?
There may be a “bug” in the script for quest markers. I khave not experienced any problem with quest markers. Prior to 1.6 I had a mod or two and after 1.6 problems started. I deleted all the mods and did a clean install. There are still minor things with graphics, but they are random and not a game buster.
