Can't trade with anyone

I keep having the problem where i cant trade with most vendors and this happens in most towns. When i load in to trade with someone i cant cycle between tabs and sub tabs cant check info and cant check basket which means i cant complete the trade. I can add to my basket but as i cant cycle tabs and view my own inventory i cant sell and even when i add to my basket i cant check the basket and therefore cant do any trades. Has anyone else had this problem?

Also every time i load in to trade, hal is nothing but a silhouette

I’ve found waiting at least 5 minutes fixes all the problems and trade can go ahead

I’ve been getting this since the last patch. I normally just enter and exit trade a few times and then it works for me.

I’m having exactly the same problem on PS4. Henry’s image is also just a dark shade when it happens.

Sometimes it works when one tries to trade repeatedly. It usually works well again after one saves and exits and then continues.

Sometimes the only way is to close the game and start again.

I get the feeling that it might have something to do with full RAM space. So the program cannot load everything that is necessary for trading. Maybe if we try to trade with too many items in our inventory.

I also noticed that it seems that the traders keep forever everything that we sell them. Even when we sell food it stays in their inventory even when it’s become completely rotten. Maybe the inventories of the traders become too large over time for the program to manage? Maybe the developers need to implement an inventory management system that keeps the traders inventories “clean”. What’s the use of keeping all the sold stuff in there forever? The sold stuff is most probably of low quality anyway or the gamers would not have sold them.
