From the start of stealing a nice new set of talmberg armour i was always majorly encombered from the beggining forcing me to drop everything after escaping. Or do you just have to accept this for the bonus of higher armour. How do others go about wearing more armour etc. Input anyone?
Your carry weight increases as your strength improves. Henry is up to 115 or so max carry weight in my game now. There are also perks you can get that allow you to carry more.
Additionally, not sure if you’ve gotten far enough for this yet, but once you have a horse to call your own you can store a bunch of stuff in the saddlebags, which are always accessible from the inventory.

Do you get your first horse from raditz? I explored to much before even thinking about goimg there haha
You get it just by following the main quest. I’m sure there are other ways to get a horse, but that’s the easiest way. It’s pretty early on.
You get your free Horse as part of the main quest in Rattay after you went hunting with Sir Capon and you have to follow the guards to Neuhof by horse.
That quest also leads you to Urhitze in northeast where the Horse Trader is and you can buy a better horse. I suggest saving 1800 Groschen though and going for the best available Tier 5 horse (Sleipnir its called in my game).
