Character build

So what build is everyone planning on going for? For my first play through I’m think stealth with light armour thn for my second I’m thinking heavy

yeah I think stealth could be very interesting
I dont plan atm I just let it flow and see how it goes

I’m going to go with a knight build for my first play through. I really want to work on swordsmanship and reading --other skills, too, but these are the two that really interest me, at the moment

I wanna be so fucking badass knight in my shiny metal armor with bloody sword, that everybody shits their paints when they just see me.

I usually plan my builds but thn eventually end up as something else and yes I completely forgot the reading thing so that could be interesting hopefully there is like some kind of ancient scrolls or something that you have to decode or something that lead to treasure or something. I know it sounds very game like but it would add more purpose to the reading skill rather thn just lore but I’m sure there will probably be a side quest relating to it as well

medium armor on a normal speech/intimidation build

afterwards, a tank armor on douchebag build

i’ll try the stealth occasionally, but i was never that fond of the thief series of games tbqh.

Diplomacy all the way !
PS:Steel is a diplomatic resource as well

A mix build is a good idea get to try a bit of everything

1st play through - Diplomat/Assassin
2nd play through - Honorable Knight/Diplomat
3rd play through - Bard/Thief/Assassin (Maybe)

Mostly on my first play through, I will ask and Answer NPC questions the way I would in real life, so, who knows where that will lead to in forming my character build? Should be fun though!

I really want to test the limitations of choice and the ability to avoid violence at all possible.

My first play through I plan to rely on diplomacy and stealth to avoid having to kill anyone.

Second play Id like to stick to ranged, really get good with the bow.

I really like the idea of playing as an honourable knightly type, with solid speech and diplomacy. But also an extremely skilled single handed (sword / axe) and shield wielder. I’ll attempt to solve issues through speech, and failing that whoop some ass.

In saying that though, I’m pretty intrigued by the stealth and range options. So be interesting to see how those mechanics play out. Scope for a jack of all trades build, or alternatively a full second play through in that style.

I’m gonna buy some fancy clothes and impress the girls in the village while I can. You live only one day.

So like I said earlier my second play through I want to be a heavy tank so what double handed weapons are there? I’ve sort of stayed away from little things like that… Some how haha would really love a Warhammer but not sure if they are in the game

Try using your mouth. Not your fist. You’re ma man.

I’m planning to be a drunk…so I guess charisma and my weapon will be a stick and I will yell “It’s a sword!!”

 kinky

1st playthrough - Waffenknecht:

  • plate armour
  • uses mainly halberds and two- handed swords
  • no poisoning, no thievery and no assassinations, only light sabotage
  • a lot of speech
  • otherwise I keep this blank because the 1st playthrough will be my roleplay playthrough where I choose what I would choose in real life.

2nd playthrough - Assassin:

  • no or very light armor made for sneaking
  • a lot of stealth and thievery
  • stalks on his enemies to silently murder them with a dagger, poison or a bow
  • avoids actual combat whenever it is possible
  • acts shady whenever possible
  • again ideally also a lot of speech and a lot of alchemy, blending in and disguising.

3rd- playthrough Barbarian:

  • no plate armor, only chainmail (maybe I will even try to go with a naked upper body, but I think that will be too hard ^^)
  • uses only axe and shield, and a bow for hunting
  • nature boy with a lot of hunting and maybe some alchemy
  • no speech, no reading, he uses only the violent based dialogue options
  • acts aggressive whenever possible
  • never washes himself so that he will always be dirty and bloodstained
  • will maybe even sometimes raid very small villages (ideally some charcoal burners or miners in the woods without guards ^^).

Im intending to play sort of the Peasant (Blacksmith Son) that is serving the lord in the domains that sort of person generally will with his special circumstances.
I intend to use an Axe as my primary melee weapon - likely initially without a shield and getting a shield later. Training in the use of a Bow will be one of his early studies due to the lack of experience in the domain of battle.
Primarily using his ability to blend in with the masses as a means of light espionage and growing skill of the bow to assist with any battles by attempting to take out targets and scout for his lord.
