Character improving

I understand the character building system , which i find very refreshing from the usualy leveling however ,…

1 If I choose a more wordly character will I be able to improve his sword skills to the same level as if I had chose a more sword skilled player to start with . and vice versa if I chose a skilled sword smith can I eventually create the same character high in the same level of diplomacy as well. Or will this be a case of “One is good at one thing but can only get so good at the other end of the scale”?

You can, if i do understand right. Cus, you passing mission with the power of word or just talking to people = Speech skills. Also, you can fight on arena, so, that means you can grind your sword-fighting skills there(In BETA, if you choose “Diplomate”, you’ve better speech skills, than sword-fight, but you can grind those skills on arena, but it’s slower). But, there’s the problem with perks, cus they’re tightened to level, so you won’t be able to get equal amount of perks on “Sword-fight” and “Speech”.

That does make sense , Thus still allowing for the decision at the start to hold its worth throughout the game. Actually quite clever really giving character replay-ability for when you change your tact next play through.
Thanks
The more research and “info tubeing” i do ,This game really is quite clever as to how much depth and decisions playing can change nearly every aspect of outcomes.

Developers do know their craftsmanship. :smirk:
