After getting the shroud and waiting in his house i get blocked after he’s weird cheer…

Had the same issue. What I did is get the shroud, now go to his house in the morning and talk to him as he sleeps. It should work and the cutscene should trigger.
I talked him after waiting until morning, but its didnt help, Maybelline it was too soon, anyway thx
I completed the quest on Xbox (Original). If I ever come across him again, he’s a dead man.
