Cheat system idea?

I have an idea for console players since we cannot access mods and Warhorse don’t seem interested into the modding side of consoles, since sony’s limitations on external assets and what not.

I was thinking of maybe a cheat code system to add in settings that would disable trophies and achievements and would lable your playthrough or playline as “Cheating” so you could go through a playthrough having fun and getting rid ofthe realism part. I know some people would say that defeats the whole purpose of the game, but thats exactly the point it’s a game, not a realistic simulator and I would love to see a system put into the game later on after bugs have been fixed.

Some cheats i have come up with are;

Jump height increased with 0 fall damage.
Max certain abilities or add xp.
Add gold of your choosing.
Visiblity cheat making you invisible.
Immune to damage.
Immune to everything.
Insta kill.
Infinite ammo.
Add sets of armor to your chest.
Instant reputation or crime gold.
All keys.
etc.

What are your thoughts?

100% agree mate. After spending my childhood on console and watching youtube videos of people having wacky playthroughs of my favorite games, on PC i always felt as though i was missing out. Now i have a PC of my own i usually do 2 playthroughs, one whacky with cheats and one propper. great idea all in all.

I would love the Increased Jumping Cheat, They could have options in settings you could set to On or Off called Cheat Potions

A game this glitchy NEEDS cheats. End of story.

Sitting around waiting for the tailor to unlock his door until 8pm is bullshit.

None of the Elder Scrolls games would be playable without the console, and KCD is even worse in buggier right now.

Elder scroll games dont have console commands on consoles right?

nah, pretty unfortunate considering a lot of the time the game cannot be completed without the use of them.

I mean in all seriousness I love the games flow, it’s very fun to play bit adding that extra option to do whatever you’d like would be a great addition. If they sorted bugs out and gave us a warning before using cheats stating that it could break the game somehow then it would be at our own fault. But right now the game is very buggy but still playable to the point where I can find some enjoyment.

I hope the developers read these kinds of posts and listen to what the community wants, as they are just doing bug fixes at the minute. Plus it’s easter break and they are just doing bug fixes instead of relaxing :frowning:
