Cheerful greetings from strangers are creeping me out

I agree, it’s nice to here “Hey, Henry’s come to see us!” from refugees and guards for the… first few times. But when I go to some distant camp, or mill where I haven’t even been before, and absolute strangers say the same, or when I am just standing in the middle of the town and guards or villagers nearby just repeat how happy they are too see me every thirty seconds (I counted), it is downright creepy, not to mention - it breaks immersion.
Would be really great if it was toned down a bit.

Nexusmod host a mod for this issue, feel free to use it…

Totally agree, although it’s almost become humorous at this point. Wait till you get a whole cohort of troops to yell “God save you Henry” in unison instead of “Yes, sir!” after Bernard has given a rousing speech before a pivotal battle. Seriously, stick around during “The Die is Cast” quest while Bernard motivates the troops.

Wouldn’t be surprised if a mod comes out very soon that removes those dialogues.

Edit: God save you mod community.

Watch this, it’s pretty funny. But towards the end you will see the same thing you are describing here in the forums. Warhorse did respond to this video, they said they are working on it. https://youtu.be/FdlHwzrNb_w

it was funny when I was waiting for the horse race to begin for about half an hour of in-game time, and Hanush and 3 villagers standing nearby said “God save you Henry” and such about 10 times xD It’s ridiculous

I felt this way during the quest, where you have to steal the merchants stamp. Everybody knows that you can be searched and your stolen items taken away, right? So I go into the city, check into the tavern to save game, wait until night time and sneak up to the walls of the merchants house where I hear a guard shout:
“Heeey!..
and I think, man, it’s over! They got me! But the voice continues
Henry’s come to see us!”

If you change the spoken language to German and leave English titles that will go away, and also everyone will pronounce shit right and be better at acting. I highly recommend it.
