I find it strange that you can punch chicken and hens in the castle to death and sell their carcasses to the very people who saw the deed, and nobody really cares. Since food was so valuable, the chicken had to have an owner - probably the lord of the castle, and I am sure the inhabitants would mind.
Also, when you are saved from the Kumans and given food, you can take the food from the table and sell it straight back to the cook who served it to you. I don’t think such behavior would be acceptable.
I know these are minor things, as in most RPG games, you can pilfer chests and houses of people with impunity, but still…
