Check out the live stream footage there’s plenty of two story buildings in it with what appears to be windows on the second story.

Yes but what would you wanna do with them. During the day time it would look odd if you just placed a ladder against the house and went inside the house. During the night folks would often close their shutters. A more viable options for theft would be to kick down the front door at night and come in armed with three guys.
Sounds more like armed robbery to me. But you make a good point. it’s weird how video games teach us you can enter any house, picking the locks take any valuables and all while the owners sleep/ignore you. I mean how do you even find any valubles in the dark unless you know what you are looking for. Ofcourse it all depends on the size of the house, so maybe some should be burgler friendly.

Yeah folks tended to store their valuables in chests, this isn’t some video game invention. Folks actually owned chests for storage, even the rural peasants. These chests were of course stored in the bedroom where they would sleep at night.
I’m not exactly stealthy, but if I was I sure wouldn’t dare to climb up a house, break open the window, walk across a squeaky wooden floor and break open a chest in a room with four people.
Actually some of the plainer chests with flat lid could easily double as a bed. So you sneak in and find out that to get to the stuff you have to open a chest someone is sleeping on.

So you would open the squeaky front door. Walk across the Squeaky floor.Go up the squeaky stair and then steal the items from the chest? Sounds like you’d have an easier time climbing in.

No i’d be a highway bandit sort of like Robin hood. Thought I would likely be stealing from the rich and not giving it to the poor.
In a city pick pocketing might yield a bigger success

I agree with you, good suggestion. If it is combined with the proper animation it would turn out wonderful. Nothing parcour, nothing arcadish… just a realistical approach of climbing.
After all, every fit person could climb more or less. And we are not talking about climbing castle walls ninja style or whatever, but a regular ground-to-second-floor climbing for example.
It will be best if climbing is closely related to Henry’s skills and equipment. He shoulnd’t be able to climb easily with full plate and there must be that noise factor also 
But if he is wearing a simple cloth plus having enough strenght and flexibility/agility, then climbing may produce a lot of options for alternative gameplay.
