I just pledged the $49.99 for the Baron rank and I got my code so I then went to download it on Steam and everything was going grand until the download step when Steam preceded to tell me that I had an “invalid platform” meaning that I cannot download the game onto my computer. I use a MacBook and I selected Apple Mac for my platform when I pledged which it says in the email I received. Is there a way to fix this issue or did I do something wrong?

All eligible backers get their unique code to download the game on their profile page. The Alpha is accessible for Windows PCs and via Steam service (Games Menu/Activate a Product on Steam).
Then may I ask why they give the option for Apple Mac to be the platform your code works for?
Because that is one of the platforms of the full game, when it’s finished. There’s no Tech Alpha for PS4 or Xbox One either, because those platforms don’t have an Early Access model plus the builds are not yet so stable.
