Collective action : refund

If you are in my case, that your main quest is bugged even after the release of patch 1.3 (Questions and Answers), that you have scoured all the side quests of the game and you therefore have an incomplete main story of the game. that the game is unable to provide you with the result. So I propose you to join this post and bring a class action to make you refund the game.

Indeed, I produced is not able to provide you with a complete experience, since blocking bugs are still present, so I consider it clearly a defective product or a false advertisement.

Join me in order to assert our rights and demand a refund. I also contact influencers and some press sites dedicated to video games that can convey the information.

I don’t know, man. I mean, I get all of your points, and you’re not exactly wrong. But getting the game at all is kinda what we payed for. The main reason I feel this way is because of the console releases. Personally, I think of it this way…

If I buy Duke Nukem from a store (Gamestop, Walmart, target, etc.) and it epically sucks, even if it’s the worst game I’ve ever played, and the end bugs and crashes and I can never finish, I still can’t take it back for a refund. I can post and chat about how bad it is, but I can’t actually take the game back, per media return policies. If I buy a game on the Xbox store, and it won’t open, they might… MIGHT give me a refund, but they never ever would just because I didn’t like a game.

Im certainly not trying to argue that you’re in the wrong about your assessment of the game. You’re probably spot on. Hell, even I asked for a refund at one point, but that was because I didn’t have a copy at all. Now that I do have a copy, even though I have put it aside for now because of the bugs, I still don’t think I should be asking for a refund. I’m not saying that you shouldn’t be, though. I’m just giving details about why I won’t join you in this request.

I am going to be so pissed if this wasn’t fixed for me. I mean I get there was a lot of stuff to fix but this and any other main quest bug should hav been priority number 1. If you had to have every damn employee in that company working on main quest bugs and nothing else you do it. Completely unacceptable if this bug is still preventing players from progressing.

I waited for years for this game and even though I’ve now encountered A LOT of bugs and wasted some time by having to repeat a few things, etc., I don’t think that I’d ever want a refund. What I want is for Warhorse to fix the game that I paid for, which they are doing. I agree that it’s a shame that it’s taking so long, but at the same time, I understand that it’s a very big project and doing these things properly takes an awful lot of time and manpower. So no, I’m not going to join you in your plea for a refund. I love this game and I hope that the bugs get fixed soon. It’s a learning curve for Warhorse, but I think it’s worth the wait.
(And if anyone is listening, I really hope that it will be possible for Kickstarter backers to switch from Steam to Gog. Pretty please.)
