Combat system for console lowkey needs work I’m not a PC player but the controller is just rough,. Not to mention while Sprinting you simply cannot turn, only when you have a mouse and keyboard can you run in a direction…
For me it’s fine on Xbox. Matter of training and patience. Not very casual but going to be well in midgame if you are zealous enough.
P.s. YOU CAN TURN WHILE SPRINTING
While holding B (sprint button) your strafe trigger (left trigger) is TURNING instead of normal strafing. Saw better solutions in other games but it’s solved. Give it a shot.
Hey there, I was looking around because I feel the same way, I want to be able to turn while sprinting with the right stick instead of using the left one where I have to push it forward while I sprint. Im on PC but I use a controller because it helps in feeling more immersive. I dont know if anyone else had this happen to them but I’ve gotten off my horse (I think?) and starting sprinting without having to use the left stick so I could sprint while panning around. This has happened to me twice in my 40 hours of playing and its exactly how I wish the sprinting was in this game but it was a damn glitch of all things, and obviously went back to the normal way of sprinting.
The combat is freaking fantastic, outside of the bad AI. I played on PS4 and thought the combat was one of the best parts, though once you get a hang of it and get some good gear/skills, it is too easy. They should ignore all mechanical complaints for now, and focus of fixing bugs and glitches

I agree, I have never felt the joy of trying to master combat! I especially worked on my unarmed and I can finally kick ass and enjoy it!
Tweaks need to be made on the console controls not the combat system.
