Has Warhorse stated that they will be promoting any community members to the ranks of forum moderators? I quickly looked around but did not see anything on the topic.

Having a few members that aren’t on the Warhorse development team would help control the forums and the large number of re-posts that have happened and most likely will continue to happen. The dev team is busy developing the game (obviously) and because of that can’t put in very much time on the forums it seems.

Having the ability to sticky other threads would be pretty useful as well for the most common questions that always seem to pop up.

Hmm. I wonder how that happened. Maybe a personal message to warhorse is the way to go. It just seems like a good idea to have a small group of community moderators on the forum that can assist the warhorse team with some of the more mundane questions.

It could just be too early in the development stage for them to feel comfortable doing that I suppose.

In his profile he is listed as “regular user” and not as mod…

Next to his name in his profile there is a small “wand” thing that says he is a moderator if you hover over that.

Didn’t you make a FAQ?

He could pin it to the top of the main forum so everybody could see it, not just some random guys looking into “Meta”.

Also, it could be enhanced to clarify misconceptions we encountered en masse over the last weeks (building your own house etc.)

I will add some stuff I gathered in a few minutes.

Haha, yeah dekksan would probaby be my last choice :smile:. I think @AhmadKhan would be good but I haven’t seen him posting lately.

I believe it was when he offered his translating services for one of the other languages (which was quite nice of him.) :slight_smile:
