That would be nice but would require the ability to trigger a meaningful dialog with the Pribyslavitz priest. Given that we can’t even say a prayer aloud at the altar (eg Lord’s Prayer at Sasau church before Vranik thugs interrupted) or use the holy water font to sign the cross, this request seems a considerable stretch goal
I thought they sold 1 MIO copies in the first 2 weeks. So money cannot be the issue to polish all aspects of the game, I would reckon. After all, this game is a product of heart. It is not your average mainstream game, but made with a lot of idealism and passion. So I keep my fingers crossed that they won’t just put out more DLC to make money, but also put some resources aside to continue polishing the main game content.
I’d be more pressed to have altars activate the ability to have Henry put his hands together and say the Lord’s Prayer. It’s awkward that he stands in silence during the Monastery quest during Mass. He doesn’t pray, he doesn’t put his hands together, and he’s not locked in position with the other priests so he can just wander in the chapel for two hours.
No it wouldn’t and i’m happy that feature is not in this game. It’s no good advocating absolution of sins for criminals and absolution through confession is Not a biblical concept anyway. The corrupt Catholic Cult just made it up so they could learn juicy secrets and and continue to be able to work with stupid unsuspecting criminals. The Catholic Church is all about power money and greed. That is not what i want for my Henry.

You really don’t have a choice. Henry was born in the Holy Roman Empire’s borders on the continent of Europe. The Church is all powerful and Henry would be a devout Christian whether you’d want him to be or not. If this was England, then you’d have a choice. Drink, kill, and whore all you want in the game, at the end of the day, Henry would still be a Catholic under the thumb of the Church. Now as for confessing his sins? I mean he doesn’t need to be as devout as that, but at least praying would be common enough.

Not really, in the Valdenses and Playing with the devil side quests he is not a very catholic devout.
Yes, Henry is a kind of rebell in many ways. But he can not do his “own thing”,… to side with bandits and robber barons.
In the end he want`s his sword and revenge. It would be cool if the story fit´s also to the “dark side”, and you could play the bad guy. Hope for a mod…
Well, it shouldnt be mandatory of course. Just for immersion reasons, not modifying your stats or anything.
