Congrats Warhorse

Lots of negativity on this forum. Just signed up to Congratulate Warhorse on the release. I’ve been a Bethesda fan since Arena. Any one that knows anything about any game released by them knows the plague that gets released with the game. Lockpicking is a nightmare with the controller, (I know your working on it and I’m not worried) bugs galore in every facet but I’m going crazy over the smallest details. The simple things truly matter. First “quest” for father I grabbed the cold ale first. Dicked around town a bit, gambled. Went to drop everything off and he sent me back because the ale was piss warm…, fantastic. I wait for games like this and glad they haven’t all but completely died. The last 3-4 Bethesda games have been utter crap. (besides N/V but that wasn’t them) Ive rambled on but just happy to be playing a game that adds depth of character and not a first person hack n slash… unless thats what I want. I’ll definitely invest in any similar game you launch Im just disappointed I found out about it as late as I did and didn’t have the chance to back you in the beginning.

I’m loving the game for the small details as well.

People are overreacting because they are used to games being extremely forgiving, so when they have to face a challenge they coming crying to these forums and reddit so they can try to force warhorse into making things easier.

Neither the saving or lockpicking system is bad or difficult to deal with, yet people have been crying nonstop about it.

People also somehow expected the game to be free of bugs and for warhorse to fix them as quickly as an aaa studio. These people must have zero patience.

Sure bugs have been disappointing, but what disappoints me the most are the people coming here just to go complaining about non issues

To be honest, I see Warhorse reacting to the issues faster than most AAA studios =)

People have been getting frustrated with bugs and in some cases, have been overreacting.
In my case, even though I came across a few minor bugs and a rather big one, I’ve been loving this game very much since day one and have been trying to play it as much as I can in my free time.

Very good stuff !!

Its the first game from a new studio. From what I’m hearing they have sold 500,000 copies so its sounding like they will be breaking even/ making a profit. That’s great news for people that like the challenges presented.

The game in my opinion is too easy after the first few hours. Once you get into regularly training with Henry you can cut down almost any enemy with no problem at all, especially since one of the strongest longswords of the game is locked behind an “Easy” chest in Rattay.

I also am totally loving this game (also been playing buggy bethesda titles for years). Glad to see a positively themed thread as I started to wonder if my copy was the only one working! The meaningful decisions and choices, both important and trivial, and the effect they have on outcomes of situations, is something that really gets me immersed. In tandem with the deeply complex systems and subsystems present in Henry’s wanderings had me hooked from the start.

They will fix combat being too easy but honestly play any Bethesda game and tell me combat is hard? Unless your playing a turn based RPG all open RpG’s tend to be easy in the combat

Well said Wanderer.

I love games that were not tested and constantly crash. Being a beta tester and paying money for it. Two birds with one stone. Wowee can’t wait to log back on to load a loading screen and then seeing all the passion that was coded. Best part is the constant loop of repeating the entire processes. Thanks guys! this is what I always imagined how games should be played.

1million copies sold! Exciting news. Gives them the money needed to continue developing patches and potentially DLC or expand on any DLC they had planned
