Controller or mouse and keyboard?

I am getting 3 days off to play this game from 14th Feb.
I have been waiting for so long, I am really happy that the release day is just a few weeks away.

I was wondering, should I set my (Nintendo) pro controller to play it on pc or mouse and keyboard is the best way to play the game?
To me the combat seems more enjoyable with a controller… But I already played the alpha and looking around with the controller was a pain…
Does anybody tried the new demo with a controller or mouse and keyboard?

I play with mouse and keyboard most of the time. Please note that I decided this way after trying ps4 controller aswell as steam controller for long time, but mkb just proved superior in 90 percent of scenarios (especially lockpicking and archery). Controller might be useful in sword fight, but not by much imo.

Steam controller might be very useful, because you can switch on the fly only for combat and use mkb for the rest

We can’t tell you for sure, what is better, cus this game isn’t a port from console to have troubles with M + KB controlling. It depends on your choice and what seems better experience for you. I’m always playing with M + KB even if i’ve controller. Sword fight in the game isn’t that hard on M + KB even with lock, so you can spend a few mins or hours on arena, when you get there and everything gonna be fine.
