Cyberpunk 2077

Yesterday, CP77 gameplay was shown to public.
What are your thoughts about it? Are you excited?
Do you like the design and features?

I saw it in pre-order for some 50 pounds already, crazy, and they say it is going to be released probably in 2020. I was not watching it but many people on the internet hyped it all the time so I kept my eye on it while after watching the “demo” I am still not convinced, not because sci-fi is not my favourite sort.

Combat seems forgiving and suited more for console players than for hardcore gamers, especially considering it looks linear. Many people seem to judge the quality of game by its look, but don’t judge book by its cover, graphics is not all as in many cases, the gameplay should be the fun part of game, not the looks of it alone.

Haven’t seen it but IF I want to think about A buy a pre-order years in advance is stupid. Even at release I think is unwise the way games come out loaded with bugs nowadays.
console level combat sounds disappointing…

uuhhh… wow! really? yes!.. paly as a female in Cyberpunk 2077! :scream: yahoo az cool

There is a character creation tool. So you can choose sex, skin colour, tattoes etc.
And this female charakter from Battlefield V with a pink iroquois haircut and a robotic arm would make more sense in cyberpunk 2077, in my point of view, than in a WW2 shooter.

I belive it would be fun to play cyberpunk 2077 and create a female character who looks as close to the charakter from Battlefield V as the creation tool can do. Just to show Dice that the surrounding enviroment matters.

it will be the most played game in it’s time but it’s still far away from today and preorder doesn’t seem reasonable for me atm

I haven’t played a bad game yet from CDPR. I’ll be interested to see how they approach a new story universe, but as long as it’s on par with their previous work I’ll play the hell out of it.

Visually powerful. Looks techno chic and too linear

It’s hype for probably nothing. Since Witcher 3 the studio is making mainstream games for a maximum profit and no longer for quality. Witcher 3 was dull, perfectly designed for casual gamers and the Marvel mainstream. Cyberpunk seems to continue this way and now we have even more action/fun gameplay for console players. If a studio has too much budget, then an action game with big fire-guns and shit gameplay will be the result. Because this is what the mainstream wants and what brings the most money.

If you are interested in a decent sci-fi game with professional story telling, play “SOMA” or for a RPG then play “Elex”.

The most anticipated upcoming game that’s absolutely worth to get hyped is “Asylum” from Argentina, by the people who made “Scratches”. And “Lorelai” from Harvester Games, who made with “The Cat Lady” and “Downfall” two of the best games of video gaming history.

And last but not least we get some news on September 7th from Frictional Games’ next project. Maybe actual the best developer.

Should tell if the games you talk about are available to the English speaking/ north American market. or not. No sense recommending them on an English speaking forum if they are not.

All these games are english speaking.

its really cool that they putted the release date in the tittle of the game.

i would prefer two (or twenty) other games but kk icon_laughing

@rataj
Have you ever played “The Cat Lady”? It’s a story telling idol, where most games fail.
But it’s something you must play at night when you are alone.

A quick playtest. No yet finished.
I like them too but for me it is clear thing that games in that style are always good and brilliant.
I am a huge fan of sidescroll view games
