We will receive at least a steam code… So, just smile don’t!
One of the backer just asked in one of the czech thread (similar to this one) where is the printed manual, so that’s another item that is not there
Beautiful silence right now…
Just because you’re a duke they “have to send it” to you. everyone from soldier and above should be getting it delivered
So true! But I wrote it because at that time the discussion was about Duke end higher tiers.
Good news (hopefully) for those that didnt get sms from dhl.
I received SMS confirmation on Friday morning that my packages will arrive on the 12th (no email or tracking info, just yet), but I probably won’t be able to pick it up until the weekend. I’ll let you all know!
Never looked on my mobile that often in my entire life
Why are you lying?
- The whole point of Kickstarter is to give money to the project, not to get the collector’s edition for cheap. If you didn’t want to give them €150, you shouldn’t have.
- The collector’s edition you posted is the same as the Earl edition and was sold for €100. Now it’s sold out. The Earl edition was for €75 on Kickstarter.
- The Duke edition was for €150 , which is not 3 times more that €100 !!! And with the Duke edition you also got Commemorative Silver coin, that’s made from real silver. That itself costs like €20. You got access to alpha and beta. You will also receive DLCs and very likely the sequel for free. People who bought just the collector’s won’t.
Say what now?
We must stop this senseless war.
I am not lying. I didn’t support this project because I wanted to get collectors edition cheap, I supported because I trusted in the idea and how the game was done, but If you are promised to get something then you are expecting to get that. After the kickstarter you could still get those tiers, but they were more expensive. It was more then 6k in crowns, so more then 200€. Which is between 2-3x more then what similar collection in the store is. I know that the coin there is not from silver and the figure has different materiat, but on the other hand you will get steelbook.
People in higher tiers were promissed Act II and Act III. The Acts are not happening, but there will likely be a sequel, so it would make sense to me to give those backers at least a steam code for the sequel. But that’s just my thinking. I’ve never seen Warhorse commenting on that.
He does not seem to know that the British Pound lost a lot of value over the past years.
65 GBP/ 125 GBP in Euro is nowadays less than it was when the campaign was active.
I hope that it gathers momentum now.
Look on the problem from this view : during kickstarter you could get the game for few bucks as a soldier or baron (baron with few things extra was like 27% then compared to PC version now in the store, if you are getting ps4/xone then you have received that game for even better price). Then once the kickstarter ended prices for the same edition increased, which is ok, because the closer the game is to release the more should it cost, but if you have bought Duke after a kickstarter then few months later almost the same edition can be bought almost 2-3x times less?
Did the Kickstarter ever state that you will get ALL the stuff on day one?
I’ve got a DHL dispatch notice on Friday (delivery to Brussels expected on Monday).
If you supported the game as a Earl, then for almost the same price you can get the same edition + action figure + steelbook. Where is some kind of nice gesture from warhorse, that we as a backers made this game possible? We were the core community and in return for all these years (I was watching every information about this game since 2011, way before kickstarter) everyone can get more stuff for less money and they know that this game will ship in like few days, in 2014 nobody could tell if they will ever manage to finish this, but still we have supported this and we have been waiting if maybe this game will ever be done…
