I am afraid I cannot find the difference between normal edition (such as Steam version) and the ´´special edition´´. Both seems to state identical text when trying to buy the game on Dutch sites. I would require the assistance of the forum as there the answer may be present. What is the difference?

Well through steam you can pre-order the game and basically all the pre-order are special edition, so it means they will come with DLC treasure of the past included. After the 13 of february you can only purchase the game as standard edition so it means without any pre-order bonus.
Then there’s the Collector’s Edition which is basically a Special Edition with some merchandise included in the pack.
To my knowledge the Collectors Edition is only available to backers… I tried to get it, sadly I’ll have to settle for Special Edition.
Could you link the site with the two identical discriptions?

I have to disappoint you but the Collector’s Edition can be pre-ordered. Just go to main site, click pre-order on top left, then choose your desired version, and once done, you will be linked to the eshop where you can pre-order the version you choose. Simple as that 
I already pre-ordered the Collector’s Edition through gamestop.
Sadly they are all sold out in the Netherlands. I tried Belgium, but also sold out 
Are there any gamestop over there? You can pre-order through their site as I did.
I am afraid there is no gamestop in the Netherlands, I could not find any information about the German gamestop to deliver to the Netherlands either which is a shame.
