Different roles in game

you can be knight, thief, bard… but what else? peasant, bandit, craftsman, hired knight, noble etc. and how its works…?

It’s a playstyle, not role.

so you can be anything you want? shop assistant, slave, tavern keeper…?

and courier, diplomat, hunter (with friends npc or with kings hunting friends or alone) trader (with caravan? or horse and what she carrier) monk (in monastery and then goes towns to tell word of god or building there little church land and church) and can you be healer (you do potions…) and people come after you askink help

Hmm, that’s interesting idea. And I actually think, that I heard them talking about it and it’s probably going to be in game.

As far as I understood, there won’t be fixed classes or roles. There are the three trees of warrior, rouge and bard, or whatever they are called in the final game. I also take from the updates that there won’t be your usual character progression through distribution of points, but instead you will develop perks and abilities through different choices in the storyline. For instance you become especially sneaky if you chose to solve a problem by stealth.

Shop assistant, slave, peasant? Why not be a goat?

no not chance these three classes, but if you can be anything you want in game looking your actions people npc:s will knowing you like these or something?

people (npc) will knowing excempel you always hunting and therewore calling you hunter or trader and if you are knowed knight (mighty and so on ) lords asking you to be hired to next fight…

and if you goes after thiefing or bandit life to prisoner you are slave or prisoner lord can sell you to mines or nearest farm and people will know you like that and if you escape they might know you and asking “were you prisoner” or if you have been free after slave time they knowing “you are old?slave…?”

Oh you mean what jobs or activities you may be able to carry out…
Well I saw fishing and woodcutting so far. There’s not much else to tell as long as warhorse doesn’t come out with news about this kind of stuff. You can watch all the video updates released so far very carefully and you might find other activities.

Personally I think of activities as little gimmicks, nothing I’ll be spending a lot of time with.

i have saw all videos from warhorse and waiting their next video diary…

but will people knowing you in these actions and calling or talking “he is wery good hunter ask him help” and mighty warrior “will you carrier my flag in fight?”

if you spare and not taking prisoner bandit you might be able to join bandits and people who have saw you scary or telling his lord “his bandit”

if you only hunt animals and robber peasant sametime arent they calling you hunter or robber/thief?

and if you are wery good hunter/poacher? lord might ask you to be archer in next fight against enemies…?

but if you could be bandit and collect many npc friends you could hiding in forest, helping people, keep attacking both kings troops in game and become knowed person and people trust you and you might start your own war in empire against holyromanempire two kings… but when bohemia was created 1403? or other little countries in act 1,2,3? can you join other country or asking help?

The game heavily relies on story, so I don’t think you’ll have time to become anything too serious. Like becoming a monk or open up a shop. Where do you find time in doing that? There’s an army burning villages, threatening everyones everyday life, and your parents were just killed. You’re the son of a blacksmith, you’re probably going to be known by people as just that. Maybe people will call you something else if you do something specific through questing as the game progress and such. But I don’t think you will be able to open up any sort of business.

there are no set roles or classes or jobs, however keep in mind you are a blacksmith’s son, a friend of the local nobles, so therefore the types of “jobs” or roles that are available to you will be limited by both your status, standing, and the narrative.

also keep in mind you do not have to be a diplomat to undertake diplomatic assignments. nor do you have to be a merchant to trade and barter items.

ps. please stop posting one question after another, especially when they’ve been answered already. use the edit button.

The game has a set story it wants to tell you. I think you are looking for a sandbox game. This is not the right place to look. Crusader Kings II and Mount & Blade are great for that

You can’t “collect” other NPCs… In fact, if you have read the FAQ (or KS or whatever), you would know that you could interact with a NPC, but not control he/she, so no warband for you… Sorry.

i understand that you cant control but they could be your friends and helping your case in story!!!

"You are no superhero - fighting multiple enemies at the same time is very difficult. It is often a good idea to have allies at your side (and, at times, a lot of them). "

you maybe be able to ask questions like “will we steal these/his horses?”
“will we go together to drink?” “will you hunt food?” "will we burn that town?"
my head come empty after posting these post so no more thinking or writing from me here…maybe…?

There are (till now) 24 messages here… 15 are from you… Can you take a minute to think and write all you need in only one message? It’ll help to understand you…
AFAIK, the dialogs are not free… You won’t type anything you want to chat with your buddy… You’ll have some questions/responses to select, but there’s no “free speech”.
The only companion you could have is the dog, the other NPCs will stay with you as long as you need them for a quest/mission/whatever, and if you join an army, you’ll be only a soldier and won’t be able to give orders to noone. You won’t “recruit” no army.

can somebody end this thread…? somehow… last post are 3 days old… pleeease!!!

We are planning several minigames that you can perform and that are parts of usual “jobs” or “roles” of NPC’s. That means you can be given a small quest to do something that usually other NPC does for living. In that sense you can do some small job or craft. But it won’t become a full time occupation for the main character, which would be probably utterly boring.
