so is there a difficultly settings in the game?
No, there is no setting.
If you rush through the game it could be sometimes very hard.
making side quests and using a good armor, or doing training helps a lot.
Being diplomatic and stealth will make it easy (not always!)
I have never played the game cuz i dont want to ruin my experience on an unfinished game but am a hardcore player am worried that the game is gonna be to easy.
It won’t till the moment you learn how to fight and all the timings.
At that point it won’t be because the game is easy, it’s because you’re too good !
yeah i can imagine its like fallout 4 survival mod its so hard in the beginning but then by level 50 its to easy. but thats mostly cuz of the perks you get.
If you want hardcore, don´t use the perks…
i just want to be immersed into the game hard games give you more of that feeling. but i think this game will be pretty immersive
You can always choose to do quests in the hard way i guess. Like to choose infiltration instead of going to you allies for troops etc…
Getting shot an arrow in the face will always kill you, no matter what level you are
Unless you have proper head gear of course, a coif and bascinet would help.
Coif hardly aids a strike to the face.
A visored helm can, but the only working armour is the visor/mask, which is less than that of the rest of the helm, and can have significant openings.
A coif under the bascinet. That’s what I meant; a visored helm would be great as well, hopefully it’s available early in the game.
Maybe increased combat length can be another option for future ? it’s not fair at current state
The coif(s) reduce transferred impacts from blunt trauma to the helmet shell (and also to the visor if it doesn’t crumple first).
The coif(s) will also catch the point of and require penetration by anything that punches through the helmet shell, but it doesn’t cover the visor, which is typically thinner and has vent and vision holes pierced in (or around) it.
To all intent and purposes the visor is all that is between you and sharp things in the face, while the helm and coif protect the sides, top and back of the skull.
Thanks for the lecture, but I already knew that. Not sure if it helps.
