I’ve seen people complain about how easily it was to get dirty and for the most part it didn’t bother me since the gear I was using didn’t show the dirtiness very well, but now that I found a hounskull helmet and some more noticeably dirty clothing it’s starting to get annoying how quickly and easily Henry gets dirty. Like within 200m of walking after taking a bath his helmet is completely caked with dirt again, making the helmet look disgusting. I appreciate the filth mechanic, but as it is right now there may as well not even be a clean state considering how quickly you become dirty.
Don’t get me wrong. I fully understand this is the dark ages where people chucked buckets of shit on the side of the road, but shouldn’t that only really apply to your lower body only and even then specifically to your boots? Why is my helmet getting filthy? I’ve worked dirty jobs before(farmhand, waste disposal, moving, etc…) and even after a whole day of trudging through literal feces never got anywhere near as dirty as Henry seems to be able to. I think the dirtiness needs to be seriously toned back. I’m walking down the muddy road, I’m not using it as a slip-n-slide. It’s not really realistic.
