DLC in late game?

So I’m new to the forums but I have not really seen a post like this one yet so I thought I would make one. If it does already exist I’m sorry . I have a question regarding the DLC of the amourus adventures of the bold sir Hans. I am In The epilogue ,and of course this blocks off a lot of quests. I was wondering if the DLC will have to be played on a new game? I really enjoyed from the ashes even though it was advised to play it on a new play through. With the way I built my town I had the future tournament mode in mind :crossed_swords:️.

no mention was made about when to Play the amorous DLC yet, late/early, or what. The tourney DLC most likely will be in Ratay as there is already an arena there.
IMHO you wasted the building slot with your arena. One of the other more productive builds in IMHO would have been better.

According to the trailer the new DLC can be played at any time after rescuing Capon from the Cuman camp…… We will have wait and see once they release the DLC.

I just made choices on what I thought would be best for the setting. Sure horses are a boon. However with Cuman’s running About I thought a stronger military/Guardsman presence made since. Granted it’s all from a role play stand point and the fact I already have a full decked out kit.

They mentioned you can play it at the end but not really sure how they’re gonna to that.

not sure why. Jenda isn’t a step down relative to the new mounts, and none of your guys can ride with you (aside from completing a mission/quest objective). poor location for stable too (no reasonable place to train at canter)

the guard house and the stables are just eye candy. that they don’t have gameplay associated with them is the biggest disappointment of KCD DLC to date, and amorous and tourney won’t change this.

I just ment as a role play perspective. Owning a stable was a luxury. I just figured Henry would have wanted a stronger military presence in a town he looked after. I will say though I wish their was a battle or something like maybe a raid attempt on the town after it’s built.

i understand but it’s a phantom or figurehead role. you can’t do anything of a functional nature with the guards or horses. you have no real role as bailiff with guards or horsemen under your authority

you can train in the combat arena but the combat arena is 1-vs-1. out in the real world of KCD, that’s rare at best. you can’t improve the goods in the armory; in fact, it’s hard locked so you can access it. no quartermaster role to be had

don’t get me wrong. like ashes but as home it’s half baked (can’t bathe, mend clothes/shoes, etc). as as a platform (bailiff) to expand my roleplaying, it’s exceedingly circumscribed.

I agree on that point I wish their was some type of mission at least. Maybe after you finish reconstruction sir divish would have you take your men and take the fight to random Cumans. Maybe Small skirmishes with you in command. That would have been a nice touch and give weight to some of your choices in building. If you didn’t make the right choices then combat would be harder or easier.

absolutely! have you found the bandit camp over the ridge from the Pribyslavitz logging camp? have you seen the ambushing Cuman at the crossroads to Skalitz? those would’ve been great opportunities to do as you said

It could be small as 10v10 or so maybe more or less on your side depending on choices. And your guys could have better armor or weapons depending on which you choose. And maybe if you chose the stables instead of the guardhouse you could have had fewer men but they would have mounts. There are some judgements minor spoiler if you haven’t done any

The judgement where your merchant was robbed. What if instead of requisitioning your people or paying out of pocket you lead your men to assault the bandits. Easy to do. Or if you pay for a new shipment you and some guards follow it’s as an escort. Little pitched battles like this would have given the from the ashes that little something extra.

I wouldn’t have bought D:OS2 and wouldn’t alternate games if ashes had that kind of repeatable gameplay
