I like the settlement mode but my son hates it. He likes it on Minecraft better.
itâs tedious. like what Kinggath et al have done to simply settlement part. (SimSettlements/Rise of the Commonwealth). donât want the original heavy (FO4) version in KCD. would like a lighter, simpler version
Iâve been hanging around 'cause Iâm waiting on 1.43 to see if it fixed godliness, kings silver, and robber baron and clothes make the man for me.
I tried robber and clothes , clothes was a no show. Capon was still in his skivvies and ALL my on henry inventory disappeared which went back quite a few saves, losing like 15 hours of real game play.
I have to have place anywhere too. I would pay like 20 for it if I had to lol.
thatâs one of the less that satisfying part of KCD. you collect gold vessels, etc. you canât place anywhere in any place you get. etc. etc⊠you can crash on a random seat patch on the map but you canât throw down your own sleeping mat
FO4 settlement part wasnât well done and the people not handled wll as per the AI which made it quite annoying at times.
not quite as annoying as that azz hat in the trench coat and crank laser rifle.
I hope that you do get it because that might mean Xbox might get it shortly after. But Iâm not really looking for it till Friday.
At least in the Wine and Roses DLC for Witcher 3 you acquired a vineyard with a villa that you refurbished allowed you to display some armor and weapons and pick out paintings. It was too bad you couldnât start making wine.
They could have done better with the AI for the settlers and gave us better places to build like in the big industrial sights that were ran by raiders on gunners.
yeah, preston building settlements is/was too much in the weeds. give me another farmer and then they produce stuff for Rattay (etc) to improve supply at grocer etc and maybe town reputation. thatâs kind of the level of detail iâm interested in. that loosely coincides with a lordâs role
ya, that oversized alley in the middle of downtown was stupid and the one WAY out of nowhere with a non removable radio station too.
shoulda allowed more of a building removal/renovation ability too.
I think mods is the only thing that is keeping those games alive. If KCD had mods on console I would probably never play another game lol. My life would be overâŠ
donât forget to attend the next meeting of KCD anonymous!
same here. i know Dunia isnât WHâs version of CryEngine, but even having a FC5-ish map editor (available on consoles btw) would go a very, very long way for me.
Sexy Biscuit just joined our Little groupđ Welcome Sexy Biscuit if you can.
Nope. Same deal on PC. Steamâs charging $5 USD.
The only value from this super lightweight DLC are the maps IMO. Theyâve encourage map exploration. But what value is there in that when youâve already done just that and/or revealed the entire map by means of perks etc?
And I also canât tell the difference in value between these supposedly unique maps in the DLC & whatâs already existing in the game by Treasure maps I - XII etc. They all lead to varying degrees of treasure of capped value. But by the time you collect all of these plus the ones already in the game, the novelty of treasure hunting will have likely worn off. And youâll have most likely screwed the game economy. There isnât any balance to the existing economy once you accumulate over $2-$3k gold from hunting, looting & selling bandit/cuman armor etc etc.
But seriously though. HTF can they justify that price tag? Skyrimâs HF DLC cost the exact same amount with 30hr+ immersive realsim/sandbox w/ child & pet adoption.
Talk about raping players blind
That is kinda what I thought.
and then I paid it
Iâm guessing the next full blown story DLC will be $15 US or more. and only 20 hours
itâs an investment
Looks like it. I think I heard someone say it would be 60 I think.
At least for the next 2 acts down the road.
