Having a problem with guards finding stolen goods on me even when nothing I have/horse has in inventory is marked as stolen. No stolen quest items either. All my stolen items are currently in the stash.
Guards do not search the global stash or your horse.
And besides, how? they are not standing in front of it, just you.
Yeah, I figured it’d be retarded but my problem remains; How come a guard can find several stolen items on me? I’ve heard that they do search your horse though, but that doesn’t really matter in my case.
if they are not marked as stolen but were not or are but not marked then it might be a bug.
best to keep stolen items in your stash for several game days to cool them off or sell them to Peshek or Woyshek
Yeah, gonna do that. Could perhaps be some items from bandits or cumans that aren’t properly flagged. Thanks for the help mate.
Okay, figured out what it was. Apparently some of my door keys and some of my trunk keys are tagged as stolen (no indicator). Not sure if all the keys are tagged or whether even the guards are unable to remove all the keys from the stack. All I know is that out of 3 keys in both stacks only one of each remained after the search. Hopefully they’ll clear eventually. Pretty sure the devs are already aware of this so maybe it’ll get fixed in future patches. Will make thread in Bugs if necessary and hopefully if someone of importance sees this they could expedite the issue. I doubt I’m the only one who’s confused about this.
