And whats wrong? But there are ballista, catapults…
Yeah, but you need 5 people to fire a catapult. So you would play the guy that places rocks on the catapult. Or the one who cuts the rope. Sounds pretty boring.
That’s just plain wrong. World of Warcraft taught me that all you need to do is jump into a catapult and drive it around like a race car, while spamming a single button to fire.

The main thing here is the atmosphere. And not technical details
But a roman legion had 3000 to 6000 soldiers. I wanna see that CPU that can handle this. And reduce a legion to 50 people wouldn´t be satisfying either… To be faire a setting in the style of ancient rome would be cool, but in my opinion this setting fits strategie games better than roleplay games. “Rome: Total War” is a really good game. Check it out if you don´t know it.
