So I haven’t played this game in a long time I came back to see a hardcore mode? and when i try to select it I die apperantly several times then Nothing had a description i just get @ui_help_pg15_s1000 and @ui_Descriptions under every perk that its showing so im not really sure what any of them do Ive tried reinstalling the game entirely not sure how else id fix something like this
I guess You are using something old version Mod.
From ver.1.6, there’re HardCore-Mode, but your Mod contains Localization files before that.
Those files overwrite basic files. So, these new passages are missed.
You need delete those Old Mod to play that.

I installed the game for first time on this PC So i don’t think thats possible since i haven’t modded it
Then your Localization file is simply old.
You see, “Continue” is visible that is old passage from old ver. So, some of UI still working.
Only the game system must be 1.6 or later.
Delete Localization files “KingdomComeDeliverlance\Localization” and download newest one.
But before that You need make sure You really have No Mods folders inside “KingdomComeDeliverlance\Mods”
Because it will overwrite new files by old ones and never update by itself.

Well you said, it’s the first time you installed it on THIS pc. Please can you upload the KCD.LOG from the gamefolder here?
