as the title says i just want to know for sure is by installing the new patch you lose the sword
There are others with similar problems, but devs said they will check it.
i don’t want to loose that sword is my favorite. i wont download the new patch until i know for sure i dont lose my weapons and items
i still have mine. anyway it’s not that good, you can get a better sword from rattay
I think they can’t remove the item that you’ve been acquired. It’s just unfair if they removing the best items we’ve had.
St. George’s sword is confirmed to be the best sword in the game, though Herold’s sword is a close second because it has superior slash damage.

like which one, because i have been through all sword in every store and so far the best one is st george

at least for me stabbing is far more effective that slash especially if you direct the stab to the body part with no armor most of the time is one or two kill hit
herold’s sword. there’s also another one, but it’s a short sword. i forgot the name
it only has better slash that’s all but still st George its better looking at least for me
i dont like short sword my forte is stabbing and short ones are no good for that
Stabbing is superior to slashing if you fight an opponent in plate armour.
you know what i found interesting that most robbers, bandits and assassins that i have found on the road are too dam good equipped i don’t know if as you get stronger the enemies get also upgraded
The best shortsword is Noble sword i guess.
The best short sword in my game for stabbing is the Stinger. It has a base stab of 72 (74 before the patch). To the OP, yea I’ve lost some equipment too, like the quartered combat jacket (best outer garment) and the bouche shield (best shield). At least you can buy the bouche shield in Rattay, but this one I had found in a chest.
i have capon’s sword (took it during bath time) it is way better but the stolen tag won’t go away (obviously)
Isnt Capons sword just a St. George sword? Anyways there are consequences because
spoilers!!!: later on in the story you fight alongside him in a battle and if you stole his sword he fights barehanded and is at a sever disadvantage.
I would pick that overpowered sword up run into the wilderness and drop it. It’s a sanctioned cheat that sword.

sorry my bad i have st george and st michel, i got confused … and actually i lost my St george …
That’s wat i did after i gave runt 1 false edge combo and i had won. Combat with an cheap shortsword without an shield makes combat more fun when your stats are nearly maxed out.

The Executioner’s Axe is pretty beast, It’s Two Handed and kinda slow…But very powerful
